ENSLAVER-Everidge

Everidge, J.W. — Choctaw, was a Supreme judge in the Choctaw Nation in1877 and 1890, a voter at Goodwater precinct in 1883, and judge of the Third Choctaw District in 1896.
Everidge, Joe- Choctaw, voted in Skullyville County in 1872 and was a candidate for Principal Chief in 1874.         Everidge, Joel W.- probably the J.W. and Joe Everidge above, was born in 1828, the son of Thomas and Eve (Brashears) Everidge. He lived nine miles east of Grant, where he died on May 5, 1901. He was married twice, first to Sophia Folsom
(1830-1879), daughter of John Folsom of Blue County, then in 1892 at Paris, Texas, to Betty. He was the father of Edward
Mitchell, Susan L., and Joseph W. Everidge (1).

Everidge, Thomas- Choctaw. married Eve Brashears (born l79[, daughter of Turner Brashears, in 1814. He lived in the Yazoo valley in LeFlore’s district in 1831, his hou5ehold consisting of six persons, including two males over 16 and two children under 16. He was allowed 960 acres by the 1830 treaty, the reserve to include his home. In 1855 he lived in Kiamitia County, his household including Eve and Amanda. He died in 1856, Eve in 1870 (1).
