Oklahoma Centennial
Is Tribal Enrollment Viable?
Economic Justice

Contemporary Voices of Indian Territory©

The Estelusti Foundation© In conjunction with “Voices of Indian Territory©” would like to invite your comments on contemporary and historical issues involving the Indian Territory Freedmen and their descendants.

From time to time (approximately every other week) we will pose a question and invite your responses to the topic of the week.

This is being done so we can continue to use the African-Native Message Board for the purposes it was originally intended; genealogy. We recognize for some of us, more dialogue on issues outside of genealogy is desired and hope this is a way too stimulate serious debate on various issues beyond the genealogy of Indian Territory Freedmen among the so called Five Civilized Tribes.

To join this discussion you should address your comments and responses to:
voicesindterr@sbcglobal.net

All emails should include a subject line or risk being deleted without it. Any email containing attachments will automatically be deleted.

Comments to the bi-weekly question will be posted on the Estelusti Foundation© website: www.estelusti.com

We hope to generate some lively yet serious discussions and if you have a topic you believe warrants discussion, please feel free to propose it!

To jumpstart the dialogue, we offer three questions for you to consider:

Has Time Run Out for Freedmen Representation in the Oklahoma Centennial?

Is Tribal Enrollment a Viable Goal for Freedmen Descendants?
