The preservation of the history of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Freedmen is vital because of it's importance to presenting a clear view of their presence among the two tribes.

It is our mission to joined together researchers who have dedicated their lives to research and publish the unique history of the Choctaw and Chickasaw freedmen and their descendants.

OUR purpose is to make our UNIQUE history available to the public that has little knowledge of the enslavement and subsequent disenfranchisement of those who possessed African ancestry, as well as  African-Native ancestry.
