MM 2/c Ralph R. Cohee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cohee

attended Cobb School, Springer. Entered Navy in 1944. trained in Williamsburg, Va., 

and Camp Peary, Va.; served in New Guinea and the Philippines where he is now on duty.

MILO -- Services for Ralph Ray Cohee, 78, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jehovah Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Wallace officiating. Interment will be at Jehovah Cemetery .

Born Aug. 28, 1924, in Springer to Calvin and Leatha Kimble Cohee, he died Nov. 18, 2002, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

He attended school in Cobb and at the U.S. Government Agricultural School and after 30 years, retired as warehouseman from Civil Service in Fort Sill . He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Amanda McClish and Stella Denson; three brothers, Raymond, Ernest and Carl Cohee; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, the former Christine McGee; five children, Donald, Larry, Jessie and Charles Cohee and Shirley Epps, all of Ardmore; two sisters, Myrtle Williamson, Ardmore, and Opal Cannady, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Melvin, Kansas City, Mo.; and 19 grandchildren.

Bearers will be Toby and Charles Cohee Jr., Brian Epps, Larry and Charlie Halliburton and Matthew Watson.
